SCA Runners Place Among Top Runners at 2010 Boston Marathon

Members of the USATF Southern California have plenty to celebrate with the exciting finish to the 2010 Boston Marathon. Southern California Association member Ryan Hall (M27) placed fourth overall 2:08:41, just two seconds behind the third place finisher Deriba Merga (M29) 2:08:39 in a thrilling finish. The second American woman to cross the finish line was none other than Southern California Association Champion Mary Akor (F33), crossing the finish line in 2:38:12. Mary is the USA Track & Field Southern California Association 2008 Half Marathon Champion (International City Long Beach Marathon), and the 2009 10 km Champion (Dana Point Turkey Trot 10K).
