USATF Post Collegiate Scholarship Fund

The Post Collegiate Scholarship Fund is part of USATF's effort to bridge the "developmental gap" that occurs in the year(s) immediately following an athlete’s graduation.

To qualify for this program, athletes must have exhausted their collegiate eligibility within the last two years (2009/2010) and have achieved the current IAAF World Outdoor Championship “A” standard (view standards below) at the time of application.  Further, and to determine levels of funding in the program, each athlete will be "graded" according to world ranking, finish at the US National Championships and top performances.  Stipend amounts range from $6,000 - $1,000 depending on the number of athletes that qualify for the PCSF program.

Athletes qualified for the program are required to attend the Emerging Elite Athlete Symposium (i.e. "Rookie Camp") conducted by USATF each year during its early December Annual Meeting.  The symposium features seminars on such topics as drug testing, life as an Elite Athlete, USOC/USATF support programs, media training, etc.  Qualified athletes please click on the following link to download the application.
